Intercom

Connect your site experience with Intercom to help your team respond faster.

Intercom

Connect Intercom to your client portal so your team can keep conversations, client context, and follow-up work in one place. Agencies use it to respond faster without asking clients to repeat themselves.

When you should use Intercom

Use Intercom if your team already manages client conversations in Intercom and you have access to the account settings needed to add a new integration. You also need permission to update the integration settings in Bripes.

Set up Intercom

Connect Intercom in Bripes

Open the integrations area in Bripes and select Intercom. Start the connection flow from your workspace settings.

Authorize Intercom

Sign in to Intercom and approve the connection for the workspace you want to use. Pick the correct account before you continue.

Verify shared activity

Return to Bripes and confirm that messages or activity updates begin to appear in the connected workspace.

Run a live chat test

Send a test message from your portal and confirm that it reaches the right Intercom team or inbox.

What gets shared

Bripes shares the information your team needs to follow a conversation without switching tools:

  • Conversation activity related to the connected client experience
  • Basic client details that help your team identify who is reaching out
  • Message context and recent activity that support a faster reply

Best practices

  • Connect only the workspace your team actively uses for client support.
  • Test the full path with a real client-facing scenario before you roll it out.
  • Tell your team where Intercom conversations should be handled so replies stay consistent.
  • Review access after setup so the right people can respond.

Troubleshooting

If authorization fails, confirm that you are signed in to the correct Intercom account and have admin access. If the widget does not appear, check that the portal page is published and that the integration is enabled for the right workspace. If messages do not show up where you expect, verify that you selected the correct workspace or channel during setup.
